Since I knew that I would have to learn Adobe XD for my next class, I chose to watch a series of lessons introducing XD for Designers by Paul Trani.
The lesson started with a brief overview of the workspace and tools, then jumped right into drawing and editing graphics. Immediately, I was comfortable with the subject matter since I am already familiar with other Adobe programs. The additional lessons on adding fonts, colors, images, and effects sealed it into my mind that Adobe XD is a basically a baby Illustrator! However, it is very useful for quick and simple mockups that would be much more complicated in other Adobe programs.
