As the Assistant Director for Design, I oversee a talented team of graphic designers focused on enhancing the University of Georgia’s marketing and communications efforts. By leading the development, design, and production of diverse print and digital materials, we aim to support the university’s strategic objectives through impactful visual storytelling.


Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud, I serve as a catalyst for creativity and collaboration, facilitating the development of comprehensive project plans, overseeing rigorous reviews and approvals, and meticulously managing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials. Beyond traditional mediums, I direct and produce multimedia projects at the institutional level, orchestrating seamless coordination among photo, video, and motion graphic teams within our marketing and media departments. Whether collaborating with internal stakeholders or liaising with external clients, I foster strong partnerships with departments and facilities, ensuring that all visuals reflect the brand values of the University of Georgia.

Throughout my eighteen-year career, I have devoted myself to balancing creative passion and talent with practical skills, experience, and education. My diverse background includes a Master of Emerging Media, Master of Public Administration, and a Bachelor of Journalism in Public Relations from UGA, complemented by a Graduate Certificate in Marketing Strategy from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management. While I value the responsibilities of leadership, management, and strategy, my true passion will always draw me back to the desire to create.

Specializing in visual communication and problem-solving, I perceive design as more than mere color, shape, or font—it’s the seamless fusion of authenticity, purpose, and communication. To me, design isn’t merely art; it’s the act of solving both new and existing challenges through thoughtful and purposeful execution.
